Beach Packaging Design

I had no idea there were so many types of ramen noodles, nor was I aware of the all the great examples of packaging that existed. I thought the Nissin Top Ramen was just what to expect. Its great to see someone post about an incredibly common, yet usually unrecognized product/category.
Awesome post!
Great overview of a very diverse market niche – good to see some manufacturers trying to differentiate through use of creative packaging in a “commodity” field. And yes, the tie to “college” memories was a great hook that got me to read the post.
Very cool packaging review, and thanks for the link! I’ve never even seen some of these instant ramen before. I guess I need to hunt ‘em down now.
Gaa…I just went back and read the article more carefully…hahaha…I’m so sad that the Murakami inspired ramen is only a project. Ah well…
