Coca Cola Bottle filled with a Coca Cola Bottle
While researching an earlier topic, I happened to see Luis Camnitzer’s 1973 “Coca Cola Bottle filled with a Coca Cola Bottle.” (via: Studio International)
A package containing… itself? Or is this some Ouroboros-like bottle that has somehow managed to consume itself? No, that’s not exactly it… More cannibalistic than self-contained, since it contains another of its own kind. But talk about packaging as content!
